Being a predominantly agrarian area, there are a host of Agro industries here like Sugar Mills, Dal Mills, Rice Mills, Solvent extraction Plants, Cold Storage Plants Etc.
This area is also host to a number of Wood based industries like Paper, Plywood etc because of a large part of area being in Eucalyptus plantations. We also have about 6000 fully grown Eucalyptus trees on the part of our land.
